What is required to book a headshot session?
An in-person meet-up, a signed contract, and a 50% retainer secure your session on our calendar. The retainer is non-refundable because once you're on my calendar, I'm scheduling team members and turning down other potential clients for that day.
How do we prepare for a headshot session?
During our Visual Brand Strategy Meeting, we'll pick a creative direction for your headshot session that resonates with both you and your audience.
I handle location planning and coordination, makeup artist coordination, and provide a custom wardrobe guide to ensure everything aligns with your brand and our creative vision.
How do we select our favorite images?
You'll select your favorites at the end of your session before they're finalized and sent to you.
How will we receive our final images?
I'll email you a link to your private online gallery, where you can view, favorite, download, and share your images.
When will we receive our images (turnaround time)?
Your gallery will be ready in 1-2 weeks during off-season (January-February and July-August), and 2-3 weeks during peak season (March-June and September-December). April, October, and December are our busiest months.
What kind of retouching do you do?
I seek out great lighting and find your best side, but your images will look similar to what it looked like the day of the session.
I'll retouch anything that would be gone in a week, like pimples, scratches, or bruises, but if you want a spray tan or a virtual face lift, I'm not your photographer.
Where are you based, and how far will you travel?
I'm based in Bulverde, TX, but I travel anywhere in Texas! If you would like me to photograph a brand that is a 25+ mile drive, a travel fee applies based on the distance.
What about bad weather?
I'm always prepared for bad weather! Heavy rain, dense fog, or high wind may drive us inside, but I use a hyper-local weather app that tracks rain moment to moment. I'll contact you ahead of time if we need to change the session time or date.
